Tobin+Parnes Celebrates 25 Years

When Carol Tobin and Bob Parnes founded Tobin+Parnes Design Enterprises, they envisioned a firm dedicated to the work they loved. As close friends working in the same field, they decided with a lot of perseverance (and limited funds) to take the plunge and Tobin+Parnes Design Enterprises was born.

The business started in Bob’s spare room and Carol’s living room and they passionately believed that “design matters”. Failure was not an option. They learned quickly and with much enthusiasm, that design can empower people and transform organizations. Their passion was to affect the way people interact with their environments and maximize client’s return on investment. They maintained a strong emphasis on client’s needs, created value, and set the highest standards of design, technological innovation, and, at the same time worked tirelessly to understand the financial consequences of decisions made during the design process.

Since 1983, TPDE has an impressive history of successful projects in all market sectors – retail, travel & hospitality, restaurants, corporations, healthcare, landmarks restoration and more. Projects, no matter what the size or scope, receive the commitment to quality and design vitality. For TPDE, it’s personal. They build great relationships with clients and many have become a part of the ever-expanding TPDE family.
